| I can offer a wide range of training and consultancy services in all main Microsoft Office applications. I teach Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project for Windows to Advanced level. I also teach VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Access and Excel. I also provide consultancy in MS Access. I can either develop a database from scratch, according to client requirements, or upgrade an existing database, extending its functionality and/or solving any problems, bugs etc. I have extensive experience of Access consultancy as well as training, having worked with Access since 1995. Prior to moving into IT training in 1994, I worked in a largely software development role for several years, and the experience I gained during this time has been very useful to me with the aforesaid Access development. I could, for example, provide a complete development service for a database, starting with a feasibility study, moving through establishing client requirements, then building and implementing a complete database. I could also take care of establishing and executing an end-user training programme. I also hold a number of relevant professional qualifications. These comprise Member of the British Computer Society (I have passed both parts of their professional exam), Chartered (Software) Engineer, Chartered IT Professional, Microsoft Office User Specialist, Microsoft Authorised Instructor and Microsoft Certified Professional. To obtain the latter, I passed the Access Developers exam, which qualified me to teach the standard 5-day Access Developers course from Microsoft (I have attended the course myself). I also passed the more general Office VBA exam, related to Microsoft's 5-day Office VBA course. I have taught both of these 5-day courses. In addition, I have passed the official Microsoft test of my training skills. | ||
